The property sits right on the sea, and the restaurant’s view overlooks the beach; the staff were extremely friendly, and the room was comfortable and more than enough for us, though some things feel a bit worn, so I’ll give it 9/10.

Amazing - every single thing about this hotel and staff is exceptional. They even made me a complimentary sandwich and a handmade birthday card (I was checking out a day before my birthday). God bless you Annette and the server whose name I cannot remember- tall, lanky man with spectacles and kind eyes

The staff were all really lovely, helpful and accommodating; it almost felt like they were family by the end. The restaurant is good, the menus a little limited but enough variety for our 9 days there, and food was always quick and came out hot. The room had comfy beds and was relaxing. Aircon in the room worked really well! And the beach is beautiful, right off the restaurant! We spent each day cooling off at the beach. The rooms are quite tired, taps were loose, the door didn’t work properly, the shower was quite moldy. But for Sri Lanka it was quite good and felt safe in terms of water chlorination and mosquito protection.

The staff are amazing!! So kind and blessed, they took care of everything we needed and were so nice to our kids. The location is a 10‑minute drive from the center, but the beach is amazing and it was so quiet and beautiful.
