“Experiência excelente!”
We stayed at the other unit of the lodge, São Francisco Diamante, and our experience was simply perfect. From reception to the room, everything shows careful thought to make the stay special. Mr. Renato, the owner, and his wife were cordial, attentive, and welcoming from the first contact, and this friendliness is reflected in the entire staff, who are always very polite and helpful. The lodge is a few minutes from the center—less than 7 minutes by car—offering the convenience of being near the city’s main spots while still far enough to ensure peace and quiet when we want it. The landscaping project was well executed, making the garden an important and very pleasant part of the environment. Parking is on the property and is gated, which also provides great convenience and security. We stayed in an upper‑floor room that was immaculate. Everything was very clean, organized, and decoratively harmonious, without excess. The bedding is of excellent quality, always clean and fragrant, as are the towels. The bed is very comfortable, and the shower is perfect for a relaxing wash after a day of adventures at the waterfalls of São João Batista do Glória. Every detail contributed to a truly pleasant stay. The breakfast also deserves mention: very tasty and lovingly prepared. Don’t miss the scrambled eggs with cheese! Here’s a special tip: buy a good regional cheese, choose your favorite drink, and go to the corner just after the dining room to enjoy the sunset. The space has a comfortable corner sofa and a table, making it the perfect setting to end the day. An experience that is well worth it! If you’re looking for a special accommodation in São João Batista do Glória, Pousada São Francisco Diamante is the right choice. The only downside is not having more vacation days to keep staying.
