B&B Antonello da Messina

The property is right in the city center, the room was very spacious, clean, fully equipped, and well sound‑proofed—even though it’s on the first floor on a busy street, I didn’t notice any noise. The welcome and communication with the staff were flawless. I will definitely return.

I stumbled into this fantastic spot after a grueling long trip and needed a break. The room was spacious with a high ceiling and a terrace, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the building itself was an elegant townhouse right in the city center—everything nearby. The host was excellent, and the lounge area had two armchairs and a small table, with stylish, clean furniture. The highlight was the breakfast at the vis‑a‑vis bar, arguably the best in the area, lively and offering superb granite. We booked two nights but stayed three, and next time we’ll definitely return to Messina.

The breakfast was very good, served in a great restaurant across the street with tasty coffee and rolls. The apartment was in an ideal spot, clean, fragrant, cozy, and very atmospheric. It’s only a few steps from the beautiful port and the city center. Everything was okay.

“Notte in bianco nel centro della bella messins”

The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was fine. I couldn’t sleep because of the Cavour corridor; rude people kept blasting the car radio at full volume all night. It’s a shame since the place was otherwise spotless. Also, it’s not nice not to meet any staff members.
