The historic building is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated with antiques, and the sanctuary is right next door. The parking and breakfast are well done. However, the place advertised a pool, which was actually just a small jacuzzi on a terrace, and the hydro massage function didn’t work – a huge disappointment. There’s no elevator for the 2nd and 3rd floors. Staff were only on site from 12 h to 16 h and from 20 h to 7 h.

The historic palace was beautifully restored in a conservative way, literally just a stone’s throw from the sanctuary. My room had a window and a small balcony overlooking the dome. The classic furnishings included valuable antiques, creating a refined setting. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, there was a jacuzzi in the room, and plenty of space. Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind, helpful, and impeccably polite. The only flaw was the room’s soundproofing, which was subpar because of the wooden door.

The hotel was very comfortable, the room was nice, the bed was great, the overall look was beautiful, breakfast was wonderful, and the staff were very friendly, engaged, and helpful. The surroundings were also very nice, and we were able to rest wonderfully.

I loved the style, the quiet atmosphere and the view, but in the bathroom I only found hand soap and shower gel, with no other toiletries, and the mini‑fridge held just a single bottle of water. The breakfast could also be more varied.

The room was lovely, and its location right next to the basilica was perfect, with front‑desk staff who were very friendly; however, the mattress was too soft, and the breakfast was overpriced for what it offered.
