The hotel’s facilities are okay and comfortable, but the noise from the tumilanya (the loudspeaker) is a bit disturbing.

The room is spacious with a large TV screen and five hangers; there are plenty of dining options nearby, close to a BCA ATM, and the lobby dispenser next to the reception offers unlimited mineral water. However, the AC isn’t very cold, the lights are dim, and the sheets need to be replaced. There are no tissues, and trash bins are only in the toilet. I couldn’t find a toothbrush or sandals, so I asked the reception for soap. There’s only one power outlet at the front desk, and the water didn’t turn on until 5 am—this is the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel where the water stayed off.

“Ondermaats”

In the first room, insects were on my bed; the bedding was clean but old and gray. The second room had only one outlet, and early in the morning I discovered it was not powered. Don’t buy breakfast unless you want an Asian breakfast with rice; the glaze on the toilet bowls was heavily damaged, and both bathrooms were very old.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff are excellent. So far the prices are affordable, but if you’re not satisfied it might be a bit noisy.

I’m glad I liked it because it was very helpful. The only downside is that smoking is not allowed.
