The hotel had already shut down, yet our reservation wasn’t cancelled or notified; we only learned of the closure upon arrival and had to scramble to find another place at the last minute, which is utterly unacceptable and unethical.

The rooms were nice, and the staff tried to be helpful and polite, though it took some effort. The number of locks felt excessive.

NOTHING. The room looked clean but went into the bathroom a there were roaches climbing the walls and behind the toilet. Went to tell front desk and he asked me how many I seen. I said I didn’t care to count. I wasn’t going to sit there and count. 1 was to many. THE ROACHES room was very tight Bathroom was very outdated and looked old The price for this place was way too much

The location is great, just a short walk from the Walk of Fame, and the pool is superb. The family room is spacious. However, there weren’t enough seats at breakfast, and everything—cutlery, plates, cups—is disposable, ending up in the trash after one use, which is a shame but common in most US motels.

The hotel is very conveniently placed for strolling to the Walk of Fame (about a 10‑minute walk). Breakfast is excellent American style, with a rotating menu that includes eggs prepared various ways, bacon or sausage, etc. The exterior looks tidy and clean, and the staff are courteous. Parking is free and convenient, though some spots get cramped when the lot is full. Overall we were fine, but cleaning was only minimal—surfaces and linens were clean, yet dust lingered in corners and on lamps, and tiny insects were visible. The surrounding area is plagued by homeless people and litter, and the walk from the hotel to the Walk of Fame reflects that; we didn’t feel unsafe, but with two kids we chose to be back by 20/21.
