The staff were kind and helpful, but in the dormitory someone was blasting music and talking loudly, and despite the no‑smoking rule a cigarette and lighter were found in the toilet, while the washbasin was dirty.

The staff were good and the seating area was nice, but the mixed dorm washroom was super smelly.

The location is great, only 10 minutes by train or a 40‑minute walk from the centre, and the hostel is very social, making it easy to meet friends; they also have an event board. Nothing really needs changing, except that it was sad to leave.

The hostel offered great facilities – a nice shower and powder room to get ready, a useful lift, and an event board/common room that made socialising effortless; the staff were extremely helpful, creating the ideal environment for those looking to have fun in Osaka. The hostel is about a 30‑minute walk from Namba/Dotonbori, but subway stations nearby bring the travel time down to just 10 minutes.

I’ve never met a hostel in Japan as lively and welcoming as this one. The staff are incredible, the facilities top‑class, and the event board in the common area makes it a breeze to connect with other travelers. I’ll definitely be back!
