Just the quiet. I booked a king bed but was given two single beds to share, which was uncomfortable to sleep on; the room had no pillows, so I had to call and end up doing the staff’s job of retrieving a pillow from another room on a different floor. The pillows were not comfortable, and the shampoo and shower gel were tiny sachets.

The only bright spot was the clean bed and the friendly lady at breakfast. This place isn’t even a hotel – it feels like a trick on guests. Checking in at a kiosk isn’t a staffed reception, and there was only breakfast, no hot food. The hallway to the room had broken floor tiles, drunk workers, and the extreme noise from a highway 40 m away was unbearable. Since the rooms lack air‑conditioning, you’re forced to open the windows, which defeats any claimed sound insulation. The room was dirty and the staff didn’t clean it during the stay (zero service). It’s basically a workers’ accommodation, and on top of that the price is outrageous at 300 € per night – you’d expect some service for that.

Close to the A44, the room was nice, super clean, with a good bed and a small fridge. The only downside is that the otherwise fine hotel sits in a dull industrial quarter.
