The place is very quaint and quirky, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. However, there are cats roaming the communal areas, which I’m allergic to, and a heads‑up would have been appreciated; thankfully they never entered the room.

Parking is safe and secure, and the rooms are well‑appointed and spacious. The honesty bar is well stocked, and the breakfast spread was impressive. The rooms feel slightly dated, but that hardly mattered; everything else was pristine and perfect, and the heated blankets were a welcome touch on a chilly July evening.
