Everything about the room was spot‑on, but the blanket had that stale, stored‑away smell that was a bit off‑putting.

This chalet is a real hideaway – silence, trees, and a little creek that runs right by the door make it ideal for unwinding. The place was clean, comfy, and came with a gas heater for the shower, plus a full kitchen set‑up (stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker) and hosts who were friendly and quick to help. The downside is finding it: Google Maps doesn’t really show the spot, so we had to get the exact coordinates over WhatsApp.
