Hotel Palwa

The staff were awesome, paying attention to every detail and extremely friendly; some drain odors were a bit strong, and cracked tiles near the desk in room 307 need attention.

The first, standard room was tiny. It had no fridge, no kettle, no hot water in the bathroom basin, no blankets and was noisy despite being on the 3rd floor. To have a fridge, we moved to a family room which had beds for 4 people (for twice the price). Again, no kettle, hot water in the basin and noisy (also on the 3rd floor). The blankets provided on request were very thin. The breakfast was limited to omelette or eggs plus pork or chicken. Coffee was instant only. The new dining room on the top floor was pleasant. All in all, it was a disappointing venue although the staff were always cheerful and helpful. See above

“Ottimo hotel per soggiornare a Dumaguete”

The hotel’s spot in Dumaguete is excellent, close to both the airport and the seaport and centrally located for shops and attractions, the staff were warm and helpful, and the setting was very peaceful, though the breakfast was a little basic it was still very reasonable for the price.
