Good location, the owner was friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the linens were fine; however, there was no soap or soap dishes, and the room lacked a trash can (the bathroom did have one).

The little pousada run by Dona Teia feels snug right in the middle of the Cerrado, and the staff are genuinely caring. Her homemade breakfast is tasty, the room was spotless and the linens smelled fresh, and she knows the area like the back of her hand—ask her for tips and she’ll set you up. The downside is that breakfast is served in the next block, not on the property, and there’s no sign or façade to point you in, so first‑time guests can get lost unless they arrange a meeting time.

This place sits right where you want to be, and it practically feels like staying in your own backyard. Theia gave us all the freedom we needed while still being on hand whenever we asked, the room was tidy and well‑organized, and the coffee they brewed on the spot was top‑notch and artisanal.
