The location is lovely and the room was good. We also had a safe spot for our bikes. Breakfast was fine and the owner gave us useful tips for the rest of our trip.

The hotel sits perfectly in the old town, the self‑check‑in worked flawlessly, Mr Borndorf was a very attentive host, and breakfast was tasty; the rooms had everything you need. You do need to be able to climb stairs and carry luggage up a flight – that didn’t bother us, though.

Breakfast was excellent and they really listened to each guest's preferences. The hotel's location is superb, and the host was eager to recommend local sights.
