“We choose Havre le Paix for its garden. Upon arrival the garden was booked for an anniversaire, music, amplifiers.”

We booked and paid for two rooms, but one paid room went unused because our travel companions had to cancel. We were assigned the room with shared bathroom instead of the one with kitchenette and private bathroom that we had requested.

“Un havre de paix sans conteste”

The staff was friendly, the place was charming and quiet. When I mentioned the early arrival to Florence, she explained why there was an extra charge for arriving an hour early, and I understood her reasoning. We appreciated being able to leave at 11 am, especially after a wedding the night before, and we thank her for that.

“emplacement top, accueil moyen et chambre et sdb à rafraichir.”

The service felt impersonal. The breakfast had only a tiny amount of jam, the owners were not present, and the room was old and in need of a refresh. When all rooms were booked, we had to share a bathroom, which wasn’t mentioned online.
