“O locație de vis!”

The location is extraordinary, with a dream view! Mrs Nina made sure we had everything we needed, and since we were a group of 10 people (4 adults, 6 children), all our requests were met. We felt like visiting a dear relative, not staying in a guesthouse. We’ll definitely come back, thank you for everything! Only a note, not a complaint: the drive to the cabin can be demanding for a vehicle with a lower ground clearance. A 4×4 isn’t necessary, but something taller would be recommended.

When you reach the top of the lodge, you’re greeted by the most beautiful mountain view—it’s extraordinary. The lodge is made of wood and stone, very interesting and clean. The staff are very friendly, the food is tasty, the espresso coffee is great, and the breakfast and lunch for our child were free even though we insisted on paying. Our room had a double bed and a single bed, but it was small; we couldn’t have two people in the room at the same time, always taking turns. We did have a living area with a spacious sofa in front of the room, a table, and a small couch where we could spend time together, so it was a minor drawback. The forest road to the lodge takes about 40–50 minutes depending on the car you have, so bring everything you think you’ll need because going back on that road is harder, and getting to a pharmacy or store for something urgent takes time. The price reference for breakfast is 40 lei for a cow’s head / omelette, 40 lei for a meatball with fries, 60 lei for meat with fries in July 2026.

I started my trip with an unforgettable drive through the forest in my old Renault, guided by my uncle Gică, and then the entire team, especially Mrs. Luminița, was always ready to meet our needs; the experience was memorable, worth telling, and without hesitation I’d repeat it. I just didn’t stay long enough.

“Lovely chalet with a superb view”

Everything was fantastic – the view alone is gorgeous and worth every cent, the staff were very attentive and polite, especially the owner, Luminita, who is a genuinely warm person; the rooms were stunning and matched the relaxed, rustic vibe. Some guests can be very noisy – fellow Romanians, you know what I mean – loud partying people, but they usually show up during peak holidays like 1 May, Christmas, and New Year’s, so maybe next time they won’t be there.
