“Central and comfortable”

The rooms were tidy, nicely decorated, and the hotel is well situated; we stayed one night and the beds were comfortable, with street parking or a nearby lot available. The downside is that some rooms face the church and its bells ring every 15 minutes, which can disturb light sleepers, and the proximity to the main road means you hear morning traffic and delivery trucks; earplugs help mitigate this.

The historic building is pretty charming, with friendly staff and a cozy vibe, and it’s right in the middle of town. But in summer the rooms get hot, and the only cooling is a cheap fan if you can even find one. It’s a bummer because there’s a gourmet restaurant on site, so you’d expect better comfort.

“Angenehmer Aufenthalt”

Hôtel de Ville sits in a great spot. The room is simple but roomy and comfortable, with enough amenities. The nearby parking is limited to 15 hours with a parking disc, and if you like sleeping with the window open, the church bells nearby can be annoying – you get used to it, but better be ready.

“Gute Lage für Ausflüge und Wanderungen. Bahnstation zu Fuß erreichbar”

The place is in a good spot and clean. No air conditioning, just a fan. Breakfast is missing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays because the restaurant is closed, but there's a nice café right next door.

The host lady gives very personal service, the breakfast is nicely set up, and the building is a beautiful typical western Swiss style. Nights are very hot because of the extreme outdoor temperature and there's no air conditioning.
