The breakfast was decent and the location was fine. Privacy was lacking because the room faced the outside and you could see the clothes line, and there was no fridge in the room so I had to search the shed for milk. Overall it felt overpriced for what it offers.

The most welcoming congenial hosts we have ever had!.a lovely stay. Breakfast was excellent, just share preferences and they will do their best. Fresh, local produce with flavour was so nice to have. The home has a large garden around it, and the quiet side street made it peaceful and relaxing. Very good location to visit Napier, go wine tasting and visit the coast (recommend Gannett colony January-March, if into birds). No criticisms

The hosts were very friendly, but the room felt a little cramped. The pool could have been heated more, and it’s a bit far from Napier’s center.

It felt like staying with a family. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and the room and breakfast were fantastic. There was a bit of traffic noise and airplane sound that was a little annoying.

We stayed in the pool room, which sits in the garden right by the pool and offers a nice view. There’s a small table and chairs outside where we ate, and a clothesline for drying laundry. Sally ran the washer for us while we were there. Breakfast included fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, garden‑grown avocados, toast, and eggs if you wanted them. Sally and Gavin were chatty and helpful with local tips. The location is a few miles from town and within 20 minutes of many wineries. The downside is that this room isn’t directly connected to the house, giving it an open feel, but if the other guests are at the pool you’ll need to draw your curtains for privacy.
