I recently had the misfortune of staying at a hotel that fell woefully short of my expectations. The rooms, unfortunately, were not cleaned to a satisfactory standard, which made for a truly unpleasant experience. Despite this, I must commend the hotel staff for their friendly and accommodating nature, which somewhat made up for the subpar conditions. However, the cleanliness issues were a major letdown and left a sour taste in my mouth.
