Breakfast was excellent, the lodge was clean and quiet, and it’s a very good holiday lodging. The only downside is the Wi‑Fi is slow.

I woke up to a surprisingly good breakfast, but the rooms were infested with a family of ants that could wander in and out of the bathroom at will. Even though it’s a national park, it felt unsettling to be on the toilet with ants around my feet. Getting to the cabin was also a hassle because the walkway has steps, making it difficult to move luggage in and out. I’m not sure how an elderly guest with a walking frame or a wheelchair user would manage the car park area.

The breakfast was just average, but the shower was completely blocked and didn’t drain properly, which is unacceptable for the price you’re charging. Everything needs to be taken to another level.
