The property was well maintained, the room had a suitable size and a nice terrace, but the fridge bar was poorly stocked for a five‑star hotel. The internal parking was unusable and complicated, and there was no free service to get to the city centre.

“Nice amenities. Mediocre rooms and customer service.”

The location was close enough to town to make walking bearable, and the complimentary snacks and drinks were very appreciated. Access to a pool was a nice touch, and the patio terrace was cute and great for unwinding after a long day. However, the staff wasn’t super friendly, and after being told they could accommodate an early check‑in they went back on their word. The rooms had thermostats that didn’t actually cool, so I ended up messaging the hotel on WhatsApp at 1:30 am because it was so warm in the room.

“Genoten van Florence maar minder van het hotel”

The place was clean, but it felt like an impersonal ghost hotel with no staff. The reception and dining area were empty, there was no atmosphere, and almost no facilities. There was no breakfast, no drinks by the pool, and check‑in had to be done at another hotel 1 km away. It was a strange experience, not the Italian hospitality we were used to.

We appreciated the pool and the roomy outdoor space, which made the stay feel spacious and comfortable; the spa bath was especially impressive. Walking down the river to town was quick, and a mini‑market was just around the corner. However, there was no front desk staff; we had to use a speaker at the door to check in, which was inconvenient after a long walk with luggage in the hot sun. It would have helped if the coffee pods were refilled regularly.
