“Un po' sotto le aspettative...”

I liked the residential area even though it’s a bit far (a 20‑minute walk from the station and 30 from the centre); the garden‑view room was nice, though the garden itself wasn’t well maintained. The linens were fine, but the towels were stained. The shower‑toilet combo was handy where there’s no bidet. A little more care would have helped – we found cardboard boxes and rubber flip‑flops in the room and the cleaning could have been better, which would have raised the score.

“A good sized room for two with a great en-suite.”

The room was larger than the photos suggested, and the new en‑suite was very spacious. Being next to the kitchen made it convenient to grab a snack. Walking to Oxford train station or the city centre takes only a few minutes, and there are plenty of electric bikes and scooters nearby for short trips. The floor could have been cleaner and the shower head didn’t fit the holder well, making it hard to position without it falling.

“Easy and affordable place in Oxford”

I stayed for a wedding night and needed the room ready two hours before check‑in, which the team arranged promptly, making the trip easier in the heat. I hadn’t expected an en‑suite, which was a real treat, and the house was tidy, quiet, and easy to find. I’d stay again in Oxford, especially for solo travellers or couples, and the room stayed cool during the heatwave. Plenty of plugs and charging points were also a plus.

“Comfortable place far from Oxford university”

The room was comfortable, the host was friendly, and the amenities were good. There are shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby, but it’s a long walk to Oxford University, mosquitoes bite at night, and there’s no AC.

The room was spacious, clean, and the bed plus en‑suite were comfortable. It’s quiet yet walkable to town, and the price is reasonable for Oxford; I’d definitely return.
