The room is a lovely size, the location fantastic, staff polite, the bathroom is a lovely size and very clean. The bedroom was very dusty, and the lights were very dull.

The location is excellent for the town centre, the room is comfortable, and breakfast is good. The bathroom was quite small.

The location was good, but the room we received was sub‑standard because the noise from other guests upstairs was terrible. You could hear them walking around, so much so that their footsteps woke us on both mornings of our stay and when the guests were in their room. No soundproofing. On top of that, management showed no interest in our feedback or compensation.

Such lovely front desk staff. Good parking noting you need to head right up the back for more spaces. Lots of stairs to get to our room

Beautiful old hotel with lots of character. Near to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The lighting at the front of the hotel was very bright through the windows keeping us awake at night
