I woke the owner in the middle of the night for a bottle of water, and he gave me one without any fuss, saying he was “good at looking after this customer.” The mattress, however, felt like it was off the springs.

The place offers great value for money, clean and comfortable for the stay. The only downside is that the food items could use more attention.

Nothing positive to mention. The infrastructure is pathetic, the food and breakfast are horrible, and there’s no fixed price for confectioners. On top of that, they engage in unethical practices.

“Worth every penny”

The staff were welcoming and professional, a genuinely honest family. Binaya spoke perfect English and helped with everything we needed. The carpeted room was large, with two comfy queen‑size beds, air‑con, hot water, a sofa, and a TV with cable. Mosquito nets on the windows kept the bugs out. Breakfast was lovely, with a buttered egg toastie (you could also get a Nepali breakfast if you wanted) delivered to the room if you were feeling lazy, and the chef made a beautiful curry. The whole place has a wonderful vibe, with plenty of locals to chat with. We had a slight water issue, but the owner jumped into action instantly to fix it. Drinks, noodles, and alcohol were available in the lounge. The owner sleeps downstairs on watch at midnight, so it’s very safe. It was very quiet at night. I’m going back because I loved every minute. Thank you very much. The only drawback is that there is only one key, but the cameras make up for it.
