Located on the Douglas Promenade, the Regency Hotel offers panoramic views across the bay from many guest rooms. Equipped with large flat-screen TVs, mini bars with free soft drinks, and free WiFi, rooms provide a comfortable base for exploring. Hotel breakfast was very good and Service was excellent. Rooms and room servicing was good. The associated French restaurant was nice, but for the price I have had better. No vegetarian sausages were offered at breakfast. The associated French restaurant was nice, but for the price I have had better

The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had large bay windows with a sea view—amazing! The bedroom décor was a bit plain but acceptable. The bed was very soft but still comfortable enough.

Very nice, clean, and friendly place. The only drawback is it’s a 15‑minute walk to town or a £7 taxi fare. It’s too far from any shops or restaurants.

The location is convenient with a lovely sea view. The facilities feel old‑fashioned; there’s a small 3‑person lift with two manual doors that you have to open and pull shut, which is hard to navigate. Also, the room TV isn’t a smart TV, which is surprising for a 4‑star hotel.
