“Awesome!”
We were thrilled with every part of our visit. The staff were incredibly helpful and shared a wealth of local tips. Watching the vultures feed was a highlight, and the meals were fresh and tasty.

The spot was great, and the massage at the spa hit the spot. Food was decent and the view was nice. However, the restaurant’s customer service was awful. Mosquitoes swarmed the room all the time, and when we asked for a bug spray it never arrived. The staff’s attitude when we spoke to them was very bad, and housekeeping was slow. The coordination between the front office and the restaurant left a lot to be desired.

The watering hole was a real gem, keeping us entertained the whole time, sometimes even more than a safari. The vulture culture talk was educational and well‑delivered. A bottle of wine was left in our room for our anniversary, which was a nice touch. Everything else was perfect.

The design felt authentically African, and the view of the watering hole from the savannah below was striking. The pool was gorgeous and refreshing, and the breakfast buffet was solid. The bathroom was spacious and nice. The pool area was too small, lacking enough lounge chairs for all the guests who wanted to relax. We stayed in a two‑room suite with a main‑level living room and an upper‑level bedroom; walking barefoot on the main level left my feet very dirty. In our previous Zambia stay, the resort supplied unlimited pre‑sealed plastic bottles, but here we got refilled glass bottles, and we’re not sure about the water’s purity. After two days at VF Safari Lodge we had stomach issues, and there were more mosquitoes than on the Zambia side.

Un lodge au coeur de la savane, avec un point d'eau, une piscine qui laisse penser qu'on se baigne dans une rivière. Equipe sympathique et serviable
