I was thrilled with this place; the private onsen was amazing, the room was great, and the pull‑out bed on the floor was super comfy. The location is excellent, right by the water and surrounded by great restaurants. I’d love to come back.

I liked that the onsens were included in the room rate. Still, sleeping on a futon was less comfortable than on a bed; by the fourth day my sides hurt. Thicker futons would have helped. I pressed the futon down to the floor, and eating while sitting on the low table was awkward. I knew these conditions beforehand, so I didn’t lower my rating. I’m just sharing these details for anyone planning to stay in a ryokan.
