The view was amazing, villa 14 faced the ocean and no other villas overlooked the room; breakfast was limited to one dish per person, I’d prefer a buffet style or unlimited à la carte.

Lelewatu feels like an absolute paradise on a hillside with breathtaking views; the traditional villas have a wonderful organic feel while offering pure, quiet luxury, and our room was super comfortable with an incredible king‑size bed that guaranteed a great night’s sleep. The views across the resort and coastline are simply breathtaking, and the breakfast menu is diverse, fresh, and delicious. If you enjoy a little walk, don’t miss heading downhill to the small private beach (no swimming) which is a beautiful spot to explore and listen to the waves. Above all, the staff are super friendly and consistently go above and beyond to make you feel warm and welcome, even thoughtfully arranging a room move so we could experience a different part of the property. We could not have asked for better hospitality. The gym is currently open‑air without AC, so it gets quite hot while working out (possibly due to ongoing construction), and a few machines were out of order during our visit.

Die Villa 1 hat eine sensationelle Aussicht, einen großen Raum, eine große Dusche und natürlich einen Privatpool! Das sehr hilfreiche, sehr freundliche Personal. Wir sind schlecht zu Fuß, wurden immer mit Golfcar zum Essen abgeholt. Die Küche dort ist 5 Sterne! Herrlich gegessen und sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Alles Top. Die starke Brandungsgeräusche waren am Anfang überraschend, aber man hat sich daran superschnell gewöhnt! Airco etwas schwach, aber akzeptabel.

The place was peaceful with stunning views, and the staff were really friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, and the bed in our villa was wonderfully comfortable. However, it’s marketed as a 5‑star but feels worn out because maintenance has been neglected. We had problems with the toilet and air conditioning, but the staff fixed them quickly. Still, the overall condition looks tired: loose floorboards, a wobbly balustrade, a main pool that’s in bad shape and should be the focal point on arrival, a boardwalk that’s loose and hasn’t been oiled for years, and weeds growing through. The property has a lot of potential, and the owner should invest a bit to bring it back to 5‑star standards. All in all, it’s still worth staying if you’re looking for a recharge, especially because the staff and location are fantastic.

The pool villa was very nice, though you notice some aging touches here and there. We felt very comfortable, and communication via WhatsApp on site was excellent. The hotel offers transportation to any spot you want. The downside is that the pool deck never had sun.
