The price‑to‑value ratio is solid, the place feels cozy, the hosts are very welcoming, and the views are spectacular. The drive to Mesti takes about 40 minutes on the most scenic road, but the scenery offsets the distance from city comforts like restaurants and other urban pleasures. Noise is noticeable if you sleep lightly; otherwise it’s fine. Bring earplugs for peace of mind. In the morning there’s a queue for the tub, but that’s because we chose this room with a shared bathroom.

The place is wonderful but the family that runs it makes it the best. They are incredibly kind and helpful. Their dinner is a great meal and the beds are clean and comfortable

Super place for a stay. Pleasant, cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. The location is great, and the breakfasts are plentiful and tasty. Highly recommend!

Staying with this incredible Georgian family in Mazeri was an unforgettable highlight of my trip. Every member of the household brings so much warmth, tradition, and passion into their home, making you feel instantly like part of the family. Meet the Family The Mother: The true heartbeat of the home. Every single morning, she's up early milking the cows. She handcrafts all the fresh cheese, yogurt, and milk, grows the vegetables, and bakes the bread from scratch. Honestly, I believe she makes the absolute best Khachapuri in all of Georgia—but you'll just have to visit and judge that for yourself! The Brother: A total powerhouse who guides thrilling horse-riding tours for guests through the breathtaking Caucasus mountains. On top of that, he is a legendary 6-time Georgian National Skiing Champion. The Father: The master of hospitality who brings the house to life in the evenings, surprising everyone with his amazing accordion playing. The Sisters: Constantly working behind the scenes with a smile, helping keep the household running smoothly and ensuring every guest feels completely cared for. If you ever find yourself in Mazeri, staying here isn't just accommodation—it's an authentic slice of Georgian culture and heart
