“Not as described, not comfortable, but great location.”

The staff were genuinely friendly and the location was great, yet the rooms didn’t match the photos; our bedroom faced another apartment’s stairwell so we could hear each person clearly, and the walls and doors were so thin that everything in the building was audible. The beds were no better than a blanket on the floor, and the two pillows felt like airline pillows—more like a Motel 6 in the US. We weren’t told it was on the 6th floor with no elevator, so the climb with luggage was a real hassle.

The location was perfect—1000 points! Everything was beautiful and tasteful, the room was comfortable, and the host, Franco, was flawless with us.

“A little more attention to detail and this would be a great place to stay.”

The place had a great location but was noisy with traffic. The bedroom looked lovely, the bed was large and comfortable, and there was a cozy couch to sit on. The fridge contained a half‑eaten meal and an open, half‑bottle of water. There was no TV remote, and the biggest problem was the air conditioner leaking, forcing us to soak up water with towels and endure a constant drip all night.

“Excellent location.”

The Florence location was fantastic, just a stone’s throw from the river, the basilicas, and shopping. The washing facilities were only suitable for people under 5 ft 6 in.
