“Good for a chill out”
The food and sea view are great, but without a scooter you’re pretty stuck, and there’s nowhere nearby for good food or a chance to swim on the local beach.

We stayed in the Mandala suite on the ground floor, with two lovely hanging lounge chairs and a dining table on the spacious terrace overlooking the sea. The room was roomy, the minibar was filled (for a fee), and there was a free water dispenser; the large bed was comfortable. The infinity pool was clean and offered a beautiful sea view. Daily housekeeping was fine. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were tasty. There’s no restaurant, but a kitchen is available so meals are served in your suite or by the pool. The location is remote, but we knew that beforehand and enjoyed a one‑hour walk through the rice paddies. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Finally, the air‑con stopped working and was replaced the same day. The sea’s influence on the building is visible but not yet bothersome. There weren’t many other guests; if there were, the pool loungers would be scarce. The sound of the sea can be soothing for some, but for others it’s a bit annoying.

The location was great, but the bathroom left something to be desired.

It felt so secluded—right on the beach and you almost think it’s yours for the night, which was very calming. However, even though we enjoyed the privacy, it sometimes seemed like we were the only ones there and we’d interrupt the staff when we asked for help or food.

An authentic place away from tourism with an incredible view; the staff and manager go out of their way to make the stay perfect and meet our needs, they are very kind. The food is excellent. Walking along the sea you’ll find small warungs; the Balinese come to the sea one minute from the hotel for their ceremony—wonderful to see that during our stay. If you want something authentic surrounded by nature and quiet, this is it! The isolation is a downside, but the manager will gladly take you to visit. Thanks to the whole team.
