I'm still trying to process how a hotel could be so far off from what I expected. The location was a dark and dingy street that felt isolating, and when we arrived, the room was a complete shock. There was hair all over the benchtop and floor - it was disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially not families or everyday travellers.

The staff here were super helpful, and the manager went out of his way to offer us a ride to the market - which was really nice of him. We had our own rental car, but he still offered to lead the way in his own car, which was a nice touch. The location was great, but the noise from the nearby road was a bit of a problem. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the helpful staff made up for the noise.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel, especially when I got into trouble late one night due to a work-related issue at the Jeonju Film Festival. The owner came to my rescue, driving me himself to help me out. From then on, he and his wife looked out for me for the rest of my stay in Jeonju, and I'm eternally grateful for their kindness and thoughtfulness. The hotel itself was spotless, with spacious rooms and a great location close to the festival and the city center.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if I can call this place a hotel - it's more like a hostel with a futon instead of a proper bed. And everything about it is just really ugly. That's about it, really.

One thing that stood out to me was the microwave in the hallway, which was a nice touch. The room itself was spacious, and the bathroom was big too (with a shower and bathtub, although it didn't have a door, which is pretty common in Korean accommodations). There were even 13 boxes of tissues available, which was a bit of a joke. The equipment was decent, and the TV was huge, but the bed was comfortable.
