This tiny hotel turned out to be a real lifesaver after the quake – the owner even gave us a free room for one of the girls who needed a little extra help. We were a party of eight and loved the safe, countryside setting with a great view, plus it’s only a short walk to town. Just remember to ask the lady about the hot‑water situation (it can be spotty here), but the Wi‑Fi held up fine.

The welcome was warm and the host offered solid tips about the area. It’s a ten‑minute stroll to Salento’s centre, with a laundromat right next door, and the view from the room is stunning. Nothing else to complain about.
