The location was convenient, but the price shown on the booking site was double what they charged on site. The owner offered us guide services for the city, which we politely declined; after we later discovered nice spots thanks to locals, he reported us to the police. We spent a lot of time explaining ourselves and had to justify our itinerary for the next day, and even the officers couldn’t grasp the hotelier’s reasoning. Apparently this isn’t his first such incident. I’d avoid this place; after five trips to Algeria, it’s the first real disappointment.

I enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel, but my stay in Timimoun was somewhat marred by the presence of plain-clothed policemen who followed me around the streets. Despite this, the hotel's breakfast offering was a highlight. The city can be a challenging place to navigate due to such issues.

“Um oásis no deserto”

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, particularly the owner, Bachir, who is well-versed in the local history and culture. The hotel's architecture, location, and proximity to key attractions like the Mesquita were also major positives. However, I did find the price to be on the higher side for Algeria. Despite this, I would choose to stay here again if I returned to Timimoun.

The breakfast here was varied, although some items were pre-packaged. The owner was very kind and welcoming. I didn't have any significant issues during my stay, which made for a pleasant experience overall.

I was disappointed with my stay as the bathroom I was assigned was located in the hallway near the entrance, which was shared with other guests. However, the breakfast was good. It felt like a mis-selling issue since I had booked a twin room with a bathroom. Overall, it was a mixed experience.
