A very kind host; I was on a motorcycle and arrived a bit late in the evening, but there was still food and some wine available. The homemade omelette was made from eggs of the host’s own chickens, and the fruit and vegetables came from the garden. I could park my motorcycle in the secured area. The host was extremely friendly, the property is privately run and that shows throughout the estate. Beautiful details everywhere. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it without hesitation.

The location was fantastic, just as the room we rented, well furnished with a very comfortable bed. The restaurant is wonderful, offering excellent breakfast and meals (ten and a half stars!) that also provide a panoramic view of the surrounding hills. Special thanks to Commander Rocco, who is uniquely charming and offers superb hospitality. Highly recommended. Nothing to complain about; everything was excellent.

The pool tucked into the hillside was gorgeous, the brand‑new building impressed me and the hospitality felt one‑of‑a‑kind, though the stairs were unavoidable.

“Uitmuntend en bovenaards goed!”

Wat een geweldige beleving was dit! De vriendelijke en gastvrije gastheer Rocco kwam ons een dorp verder ophalen toen we gestrand waren en doorweekt van de regen. Hij had de open haard al aangedaan zodat we weer warm en droog konden worden en bood ons een drankje aan. Hij verzorgde nog een heerlijke maaltijd voor ons die avond met allemaal producten uit zijn eigen tuin en omgeving. Zelfgemaakte wijn, asperges, eieren van de kippen etc etc. Rocco ontving ons alsof we familie waren. Buitengewoon gastvrij maar ook gezellig! Het appartement is keurig en ook het ontbijt is buitenaards goed. Rocco bracht ons ook nog weg naar een opstappunt. Als wandelaar van de via francigena kun je eigenlijk niets meer wensen! Dank Rocco, deze overnachting staat op nummer 1!

The welcome was excellent, the rooms were large and spotless, the service was flawless, and the breakfast was outstanding—definitely coming back, although we missed the pool because of the season.
