The place was neat, well kept, had wifi and Netflix, plenty of coffee and tea sachets, and a jar of rusks and milk in the fridge—perfect for an overnight stop. It was reasonably priced and I highly recommend it. The only downside was that the floors were old wooden ones typical of Dutch‑style homes in the Cape, so they creaked a lot, which was only a bother when I put my baby to sleep and didn’t want to make noise.

Murray House consistently meets its own high standards. It’s quiet, well located near restaurants, always clean, and stocked with coffee and other essentials. Everything you need is there, and there’s nothing to fault.

The units were exceptionally clean and the property well maintained, so I highly recommend it. The only issue was accessing the single bathroom in Unit 1, which is through the second bedroom—a bit awkward when that bedroom is occupied, even by family.

The beds were comfortable and clean, showers were warm, there was a coffee station with rusks, parking was safe, and the self‑check‑in worked fine even though we arrived after 11 am. I’d definitely recommend it and will stay at Murray House again!
