The pools were good and the beach club was easily accessible. Unfortunately, some of the staff were quite rude and unhelpful.

The staff and amenities were excellent. I didn’t dislike anything, but I would suggest rotating the breakfast menu every few days so it doesn’t stay the same each day.

We loved this hotel, and the location was perfect for exploring Malta. The sauna in our room was fantastic and we used it every day; it only took about 30 minutes to heat up, which was ideal. The spa facilities were also excellent. Access is limited to four people at a time and sessions are capped at one hour, but we often had the spa entirely to ourselves. The combination of ice pools and hot pools made it incredibly relaxing. Our room was cleaned daily, and the turndown service each evening was a lovely touch. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We also had access to the beach club across the road, which was great, and we ate there several times during our stay. On our final day, we had breakfast on the terrace of the sister hotel, which was a lovely way to end the trip. The only issue we experienced, which we didn’t report during our stay, was that the cold water tap in the bathroom often ran warm, which wasn’t ideal when brushing our teeth. The other minor inconvenience was the timing of the housekeeping visits, which were usually around 9 am and 6 pm, often when we were in the room. However, once we realised the schedule, we simply used the do‑not‑disturb sign, which solved the problem.
