We really enjoyed the natural setting and the staff were genuinely friendly. Of course, you have to accept mosquitoes, ants and small insects – it’s out in the wild, so don’t expect to be a picky person. The room, however, was clearly lacking in cleanliness and upkeep; water even leaked from the roof and I had to lay a towel on my pillow because there were insects in the bed. The jacuzzi was also very dirty, which was a real disappointment. Overall, the place feels poorly maintained, almost as if it’s a bit abandoned. Also beware that the dinner price listed on Booking is incorrect; on site there’s a menu with restaurant‑style dishes and different rates. It’s a shame because the scenery is beautiful and the staff are very pleasant. With more maintenance and care, this could be a great experience.
