The setting among tea and coffee trees was fabulous, and the rooms were pleasantly sized and well maintained, but the breakfast didn’t match the advertised open buffet, the cottage lacked a TV and fridge—essential for a 5‑star—, and getting to and from the last 2 kilometres off‑road was a major hassle, especially for women, which might deter future guests.

The property is surrounded by the most picturesque nature and boasts beautiful landscaping, friendly staff, and a spacious cottage, yet the approach road was in poor condition.

The resort was exceptionally quiet, and we were almost the only guests, so there was no buffet but meals were served on request; the Ayurveda massages were very relaxing, the short guided walk was lovely, there’s a small garden with many plants, the pool is clean and easy to swim in, and the mountain view is extraordinary, though the pool water feels a bit too chemically treated, which could be improved with a different filtration system.
