Self‑check‑in was convenient, the place was nice and central, and the heat pump worked well. The sofa bed was horribly uncomfortable, with not enough sheets or bedding to set it up properly; I was glad I brought a blanket and could use the heater at night. The bathroom had no hand towel and only two washcloths, which was not ideal for four people. The kitchen was missing four of everything—spoons, drinking glasses only three, no tea towels so dishes couldn’t be dried, no oven mitts (we realized this after cooking something), and no cleaning spray, which I expected as a basic item to clean the counter between uses.

There was plenty of space, everything was very clean, the shower had fantastic water pressure and heat, and the bed was very firm. The cafe on the corner of Puawai street—though I’m not sure of the exact name—was fantastic. I only communicated with staff via text to give my arrival details. The outdoor area was a little run‑down and off‑putting, the sofa and dining room furniture were a bit average, and I couldn’t find an ironing board but managed to get by.
