The site is stunning and very quiet, the cabin has its own bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, the hosts are friendly and extremely helpful, and a small grocery store is just a few minutes’ drive away.

The campsite is set in a picture‑perfect fjord, quiet and far from any crowds, and the owners were lovely – they even helped us charge the car when the charging point wouldn’t work with our phone. There’s a small shop on site, the drive from Bergen is stunning, and the cabin itself is well‑equipped with underfloor heating. We felt completely rested and loved the place, even though the bathroom was a bit basic, which is understandable for a campsite.

The spot is really peaceful and the staff are extremely helpful, although it does feel a little isolated.
