The owner was a friendly, lovely woman, and there were no issues adjusting the check‑in time; the location was fantastic.

The location of the place was very good, yet the interior needed more attention with the linens, and the room was too small for one person.

The room itself was acceptable, especially considering the price, but the way problems were handled was the biggest disappointment. We cannot recommend this place. When problems arose, the staff seemed clueless: instead of offering help or empathy, they gave contradictory explanations, became defensive, or were simply aggressive. I booked two nights because a guest was arriving early in the morning; I informed the property ahead of time and they confirmed it. The extra night was booked so she could arrive early, sleep a few hours, and then start working. Yet when she arrived at 7:30 AM, the room was not ready and she had to wait about an hour and a half. We received different explanations: first that another guest had just checked out, then that the cleaner had been ill, and later that I had supposedly said she would arrive in the evening—information that was false, as I had notified the property well in advance that she would arrive in the morning. There was also an issue with the room key: the keys had apparently been lost, so a locksmith had to come and change the lock. She was told he would arrive within 10 minutes, but she waited around 30 minutes and had to adjust her work schedule because of this. The receptionist was especially disappointing: instead of helping, she raised her voice, told the guest that “the world does not revolve around her,” and refused to call the owner when asked. There was no empathy or apology. To be fair, the owner eventually listened to the complaint, apologized, and offered compensation, but he was also quite impatient during the conversation and interrupted several times, making it hard to feel he was genuinely interested in hearing what had happened. There were also a couple of issues with the room itself: the busy road nearby forces you to keep the windows closed, and with the windows closed and the AC on, this is not a problem. There is also a strong sewage smell from the bathroom drain if the shower has not been used for several hours.

The location was good, the hosts were responsive, and the room was comfortable and clean; the city center and all amenities were within reach, and the host was easy to reach. I would recommend it.
