The place is easily reachable by public transport, quiet, decorated nicely, with kitchen and garden access; we’re not sure if the rest of the accommodation is occupied, so we’re hesitant to make noise, and it’s a bit chilly.

We liked the location close to the Tram and city centre, the layout and kitchen access, the original décor, and the nice garden; the mezzanine bed is not recommended for elderly people or young children.

The proximity to the centre is a plus, but there is an unbearable dusty smell in a basement flat; the bed in the gallery can only be approached by crawling, everything creaks and crunches while moving, the bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host, the bed in the gallery is one metre from the ceiling, the upstairs neighbour bangs chairs on your head at night while you sleep, obscene pictures hang on the wall, and this was the strangest stay of my life—I would never want another like it.

“Hosts were very nice people but there were problems. See above.”

There was no breakfast, but the location and area were great; the bed was a loft with no railings, which was scary at night when I had to go to the washroom; there was only one light bulb in the whole bedroom, the toilet seat was broken, the TV was not plugged in and still didn’t work when I plugged it in, and the electric plugs came out of the wall still attached to live wires.

“Gute Lage, schöner Garten, ruhige Gegend, freundliche Gastgeberin.”

We were personally and very warmly received; the location was good, just four stops by tram to the centre and main station; the area was very quiet, the garden great, the apartment creative, perfect for young people and those who stay young at heart, and the value for money was very good; sometimes it was noisy coming from the apartment above.
