The place is strategically located, close to the botanical garden, BTM, Surken, the square, and Anyar market, so for sightseeing in Bogor it's highly recommended.

I liked the location and the facilities, though the food and drinks had to be taken from elsewhere; they do offer an Indonesian buffet in the mornings and evenings. The staff were helpful, but it was odd that they brought items into the room instead of handing them over at the desk where you asked. The room was comfortable with a nice settee. The hotel’s décor, especially the hall, was well done, and sitting in the garden’s soft breeze by the small pool was a treat, especially with coffee from the nearby Art‑i café. There’s plenty of good food nearby and a large mall close by. The downside was the smell in the lift shaft and corridors—probably coming from the street below (maybe durians?). Some procedures were cumbersome and impractical; a suitcase that needed mending was returned unfixed on departure, with no earlier notice that it couldn’t be repaired. Overall, though, it was a very good stay.

The hotel looks impressive but needs a renovation. The staff are very helpful and the location is convenient, right next to the botanical garden and the natural history museum. The rooms and common areas could use a refresh. Breakfast is subpar by Indonesian standards, and there’s no European fare—no toast or cereal with milk.
