“An unforgettable stay, with delicious food and exceptionally welcoming hosts”

We had an amazing stay at Nature Resort in Polonnaruwa. The rooms were extremely spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning and all the amenities we needed. We chose to visit Polonnaruwa because of its incredible history as Sri Lanka’s second ancient capital. It was also a convenient location for visiting Sigiriya Lion Rock and going on an elephant safari at Minneriya National Park. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, helpful and always quick to respond. They helped us organise both day trips, making everything easy and enjoyable for our family. They also delighted us with delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. One of the most memorable moments was seeing wild elephants on our way there! For anyone who doesn’t know, the Polonnaruwa region is home to wild elephants, making the journey itself feel like part of the adventure. I also loved how much nature was surrounding the resort, and I took some incredible drone shots to showcase that, since I loved it so much! I would highly recommend Nature Resort to anyone visiting Polonnaruwa or travelling around Sri Lanka. We felt genuinely welcomed and extremely well looked after. There was nothing we disliked about our stay

The place sits in a gorgeous natural setting. The rooms are huge with big windows that look out onto the garden, and the air conditioning works well. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spotless, with every detail taken care of. The owners, Sandy and Kamal, were always ready to help us plan tours, speaking fluent English and Italian. The breakfasts and dinners were excellent, and the location is ideal for exploring the Cultural Triangle. The value for money is unbeatable. Nothing else to add.

I loved this quiet and cozy hotel, which featured a large green area with a beautiful garden view, along with new and comfortable rooms. The hosts were welcoming and provided a delicious dinner and breakfast. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

I had a wonderful stay here, thanks to the fantastic location and delicious breakfasts. The hospitality from Sandy was also top-notch, making my experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my time here.
