It sits in the northern central part of El Nido, close to less touristy beaches where you can see everyday life in fishing villages; our room faced the beach and had decent amenities for a comfortable stay. The staff were very attentive and helpful, meeting all our requests. If you want to support local businesses and try something different from downtown El Nido, this is the place to go.

The beach offers absolutely beautiful sunsets, breakfast is served, and there are a few nice spots for dinner nearby. The staff are incredibly friendly and the rooms are comfortable with air‑conditioning.

We were a group of nine, so we booked three rooms and the staff kindly gave us five rooms at no extra cost because no other guests were around. They were very accommodating. The food was great. The only issue was that the faucets and showers in the two front beach rooms need fixing or replacement; there are no shower heaters and both the faucet and shower sprays aren’t working properly.

The description matched. The people were wonderful. Breakfast was decent, and there was always a thermos with hot water. The beach was really close—just 20 meters away. My room had a balcony with a sea view. The place was quiet and calm, with few tourists. The water was clean and the sand bottom was fine, so no need for a wetsuit. We could order excursions. The downside was the inconvenient and long travel to get there. From the main road you have to go on a dirt road or cross a bridge and walk, which is not very convenient with luggage.

The location is right in the middle of the beach, very relaxed and laid‑back, perfect for doing nothing for a few days. The sea is shallow for a long distance out and has a sandy bottom, great for swimming but not for snorkeling. We booked several rooms. When we arrived the family room was unavailable because the owners were living there, so we ended up with two beach‑front rooms and three beach‑side rooms. The beach‑front cottages had a lovely view but the rooms were quite old, small, and a bit grubby. There was only cold water and the plumbing wasn’t very good. The side‑view rooms were newer and much better with hot water. The immediate beach was clean, but both ends of the beach had a lot of litter. The town is a working town with fishing boats and many locals living in shacks—it’s the real Philippines, and it’s very interesting to experience for a couple of days. The town is about 40 minutes from El Nido and can be costly to get there. The accommodation quoted 5000 for a van to take us, but we found someone who could do it for 2500.
