The place felt like a real home away from home, with every detail thought out to keep us comfortable. The hostess packed in a coffee maker, washing machine, and dishwasher, and the interior was beautifully designed. A small garden added a nice touch. It’s very close to the train station, and a 20‑minute walk takes you to Gion. The hostess was super friendly, and we had a lovely time.

We stayed in the two‑bedroom chalet. The host was amazing and brought breakfast every morning, both Japanese and traditional, which were outstanding and well thought out. Walking to the Philosopher’s Path shrines and temples was easy, and biking both days was an amazing way to see the city. We loved the apartment’s feel and amenities. It was perfect.
