A very lovely family‑run guesthouse with a great location next to the trailhead and close to the taxi pickup point, which is why I chose it. We stayed in a family room and liked that they are individual cabins. The only drawback was that a family room should have more electrical outlets; we had to share.

A really lovely place. The location was surreal, the rooms were comfy, and the food was great. The only problem was that the Wi‑Fi didn’t reach the room.

Everything was very cozy and personal, which was awesome. The only downside was the location; it’s fine for the Theth‑Valbone trek but far from the center of Valbone.

This was probably my favourite accommodation in Albania out of the 4 places I stayed, one of which was a 5-star hotel. This was the best because it was so homely and a special mention goes to the grandfather who sang as he brought our dinners to the tables and treated us to free raki and free wine.plus a big bottle of homemade wine on my birthday. We enjoyed the meals, the close proximity at dinner to other guests/walkers whom we shared stories with. I liked their cat and wanted to adopt it - very friendly!. The hot water wasn't reliable and the lighting in the bedroom was quite dim but we didn't mind as it was part of the charm of the place. I would 100% stay there again if I ever revisit Albania

The family was very welcoming, but the place didn't match the photos; it looked more like a gypsy camp with a lot of trash on the property. The house that used to be a residence was turned into a tourist room, while the family lives in a tiny cabin, making cooking difficult under those conditions. A meal costs 15 eur plus the room price, which is cheaper and better than the luxury hotel 500 m away. Cleanliness and value for money were lacking.
