“Must visit the resort.”
The weather and the location made everything mesmerizing; I’d recommend a visit to experience the peace. The toothpaste and soup were missing from the bathroom, and the room towels weren’t very clean.
The most exciting part of this resort is the thrilling route to get there, but the HD and crystal view of the Himalayas from the room were disappointing.
The location offered a safari experience, but the toilets were not clean and the food options and timings were limited.
“Wild way resort (Kanatal) - 5 star review”
The resort’s location was a bit confusing at first, but the 4‑5 km trail felt like an off‑road jungle safari; from the top you can see the Himalayas on a clear day, including Nanda Devi and Bandarpunch. The staff—Virendar bhaai ji, Vijay bhaai ji, Manoj bhaai ji, and others—were extremely caring and met all our needs. The houses are made of tin and wood, yet they provide everything essential, and the authentic “Pahadi” food is freshly cooked, not pre‑made. Nearby hikes and trails are scenic, and activities like bird watching, music, and bonfires are available for a fee, which is understandable given the remote setting. Connectivity is sometimes 5G, sometimes 4G, and Wi‑Fi is available. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, with geysers and extra blankets on request. The night sky on a clear evening is breathtaking, making it worth the price. In short, it’s awesome—give it a try. If you’re looking for a lavish experience, consider other options; this is a secluded stay for those who love 24/7 scenic views and nature’s silence. No complaints beyond the price being the best value.
The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was great, and the balcony offered a lovely view. The food was amazing and the nighttime activities were a lot of fun.
