“It suited me in that all I really needed was a bed. I would not recommend this to any of my friends.”

I loved the sea‑front spot—just a short stroll to the shops and eateries. The hotel had been on the market for about two years, so while it was clean and the bed comfy, everything felt dated and worn out; the owners clearly aren’t investing in updates. My single room was tiny and not a place to relax, which is a shame given the great location.

“Was a nice introduction to a new town.”

The bed was comfy and the sea‑view room offered an outstanding view; the dinner was decent, and the vibe of a long walk along the beach was right there. The Wi‑Fi around the hotel—except at reception—was choppy and quite unreliable.

“I didn’t have high expectations after reading the reviews but it was considerably worse”

Free parking and a good location. The air was suffused with a horrible, overpowering scent of air‑freshener everywhere. The furniture and decor were outdated, the bathroom cramped, the shower only dribbled after being turned on, and the extractor fan smelled like it was blowing foul odors into the bathroom.
