The staff were friendly, the humor was good, and the hotel concept was quite alternative. The location was excellent, despite the traffic chaos around and the endless construction at Berliner Tor. The staff kindly reminded us to be considerate of other guests, which was fine, but the walls were so thin that even the most considerate guests seemed to walk through the room. The doors were so heavy that closing them quietly was almost impossible, and there was constant noise from all the pipes around, the neighboring toilet flush, and the entire night the room was lit by a gigantic billboard. On the plus side, there were at least blackout curtains.
